Two young men, one aged approximately 15 and the other approximately 19, were walking in Cuddy Creek this morning when they found the body of a man just yards from the Monterey Tr. bridge on the west side. Deputy Gregory arrived on the scene at 10:00 this morning.
According to Sergeant Craig Rennie, the body is of a man in his mid to late thirties. He has not yet been identified. There is speculation that this could be the body of a man named Jukka Hellsten, who has gone missing since October 24.
The cause of death is unknown at this point.
