I am pleased to invite you to the Job Resource Expo I will be hosting on Monday, March 8, 2010.  The event will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center on 801 Truxtun Avenue in Bakersfield.  We have invited prospective employers, educational institutions and non-profits in an effort to connect job seekers with local businesses and information on available career services.

Kern County is home to many industry leaders and talented individuals.  It is my hope that this event will provide increased communication between potential employers and job seekers who would like to learn more about opportunities in Kern County.

So far over 50 businesses and organizations are participating in this event.  And the list continues to grow.  Reservations are not necessary for job-seekers.
