At about 5:15 this afternoon, Santa Clarita Sheriff Deputies captured 2 prisoners that had escaped from Wayside prison in Castaic. 

The prisoners were due in court this morning but escaped from the prison facility between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM.  Deputies have been searching the area all day until the prisoners were apprehended in a Santa Clarita neighborhood.
