Those travelling north on Interstate 5 that take a pit stop at the Rest Area in Lebec, just may find a free bottle of water waiting for them and a message from God! 

On alternate Saturdays a group of varying size meets at the northbound Rest Area in Lebec to pass out refreshments for body and soul. They distribute free water, snacks, hot cocoa on cold days, Christian tracts and Bibles. The majority of the group is from Calvary Chapel Frazier Park but the regular excursion is open to any Bible-believing Christian that would like to participate.

Calvary Chapel quarterly hosts an evangelism workshop; teaching basic Christian theology with an emphasis on how to share the Gospel. Their conviction is that the Great Commision given by Jesus to share the Gospel was given to the whole Church, not just Pastors or Evangelists.

The group that meets 1-2 Saturdays a month has passed out cases of both English and Spanish Bibles and has shared the Gospel with hundreds. Sometimes they meet travelers from abroad who remarkably have never even heard the name of Jesus Christ.
